Many women have dreams of their wedding day and have designed their wedding gown all before the age of six! So the thought of compromising on your wedding day or of selecting a dress any different from the one that has been imagined...is simply unthinkable. However, now that we are virtually in a recession and the stock market is at it's worse since 2008, some financial concessions need to be made. Although you may have to sacrifice, and lower your budget, you do not have to compromise on style. I have found some stylish designer wedding gowns all under $300! Bloomingdales, Macy's and Lord and Taylor, all have great dresses for brides that are stylish and affordable.The keys to finding a great affordable wedding dress are as follows: 1. If you are starting your search on line, never put wedding dress in the search engine because the price will automatically double. Retailers are counting on you emotions as a bride to mascaraed their ridiculous prices. Always search under "evening gowns" and then select your length and color (white) once you get into the designer store website. 2. Keep your emotions in check! I know that you have been dreaming of this day since you can remember; however, put yourself on a budget and stick to it. 3. Bring a friend along - bring someone that will be honest with you, that is fashionable and can help you make great selections and stay on budget. 4. Finally. visit vintage stores so that you can have a one of a kind dress for a one of a kind price! Take a look at some of the dresses below...all priced under $300!

Michaell Kors 2011/2012 Winter Collection left Something To Be Desired!
The Michael Kors name and brand is synonymous with fashion, style and elegance. He is what fashion is all about for ready to wear. However, I think I may be the first to say that his 2011/2012 collection left a little to be desired. I was disappointed in the beginning of the fashion show because it started out with silky greys and then moved into blush colors of fall like we have seen in other shows so far this autumn. It didn't have the WOW factor, for me, and it seemed to fall in with mainstream designers. However, the end of the show caught my attention and, in my opinion,was a revitalization of the otherwise "dull" beginning. Burgundy’s and purples were showcased in the latter half and was meshed with the dark chocolate browns. The nude palate was very annoying but the bedazzlement of sparkly materials saved this collection and helped me remember why
I love Michael Kors. Tell me what you think!

Burgundy...The New Black!
I am so excited about this Fall/Winter fashion season because I absolutely love the color trends that are emerging. Orange, green and gold color palates were introduced with such elegance on alot of runways this season:, However, the color that was most prominent in most designer collections was Burgundy! I love burgundy because the color is so rich and can be worn with almost any color. Burgundy pants, burgundy shoes, and burgundy coats were staples in a lot of collections for the Fall. Even the handbags were burgundy inspired!
This over-sized slouchy coin purse for Miu Miu totally has to make it into my exclusive handbag collection. I adore the kiss-lock closure, it reminds me of the stylish sixties coin purses on steroids! The size puts a playful, spin to an otherwise outdated design. Below, I have included some more burgundy looks from Burberry that caught my eye and a few more things that I have to have in my closet this season...Enjoy!
